Cania Antariksa: CMUQ Orientation 2012

My orientation was out of the ordinary. Truth be told, I was extremely nervous about it and university as a whole. It's a big jump from high school and I was wondering, "how am I going to survive this?" And most importantly, "Would I have friends to support me through it?"

Turns out, my worries were unfounded. Orientation was, in a nutshell, a way to get to know new people and make new friends. Friends that would support you through university. Because I know that they would be going through the same thing, and they needed others' support as well. Including
mine.

I loved orientation. Because of it, I found friends that I could count on. It was plain fun (sometimes educative, of course!) and exciting. I met my Professors. I interacted with my seniors. I painted mugs and tiles. I acted out a skit as a Sultanah who married a camel (long story). I danced to Gangnam style. I got freebies from CMU! And best of all, by the end of it, I couldn't walk one meter in the student center without finding at least one person I knew. It was, as my HOC at CMU Aya Abu Jarbou said, "toooooo good"! :)

It really was an experience I would never forget.

And so, to end this, I would like to give a shout-out to Team White and the Palm Tree Islanders Tribe. You guys are the best!
