The committee seeks to coordinate and enhance communication among the Education City Branch partners, including the creation and maintenance of a web site that serves all faculty and staff.
The committee advises Qatar Foundation on programs and events that they see as having potential to foster collegiality among Education City Faculty and Staff.
The committee recommends a series of events to be offered throughout the academic year and works with the Faculty and Staff Life Coordinator to plan and implement the agreed schedule.
The committee members work closely with other constituents of Education City to ensure that there is optimal coordination with the other activities.
The committee members solicit feedback from their faculty and staff colleagues and use it in planning and decision-making.
The committee members serve as conduits of information to and from their respective EC-Branch or Center (i.e. gather the list of new faculty and staff).
The committee members encourage their colleagues to participate in events (i.e. conferences, symposia, lectures, workshops, language and Art classes) offered by the Faculty and Staff Life Committee.
