Residence halls are the best places for students to make the transition from high school or other universities to Education City. Qatar Foundation's Housing and Residence Life helps smooth this transition through its programs to support the academic and personal growth of every resident. Our staff work with students, and other Education City colleagues to create an environment that will help you succeed while attending classes in Education City.
The Residential Education Model (R.E.M.) we have adopted is about building inclusive and diverse community environments. We actively encourage student learning outside the classroom in an environment that fosters relationship building such that students to get to know fellow residents beyond initial introductions, where we assess and identify residents' social needs, and develop activities to address these needs and assist residents in taking ownership of their community.
Here is a short slideshow illustrating some of the activities that Housing and Residence Life puts together with the help of its resident students.
Whether you have questions about the hall, how Qatar Foundation works, or how to handle roommate conflicts, our staff is here for you. If we don't know the answers, we will help you find someone who does.
