Nadia Merchant is one of the outstanding international students that graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar after she attended the six year accelerated medical program. She freshly graduated this summer in May 2011, after years of being active and involved in organizations and activities such as two years in Medical Student Executive Council, as treasurer then president, she is actually the first and only female President of the Medical Student Executive Council, yes! Now Nadia is doing pediatric residency at Dayton Children’s - Wright State University School of Medicine, and for the future she is planning on doingGenetics fellowship and then wherever life leads me.She chose this path to help others with genetic disorders and bring them better lives.
When we asked Nadia about her experience at Education City she was very positive about it and described it as awesome! If I went back in time and had the choice to choose, I would do it again! I got a world-class education with a global perspective.She also told us that if she went back, she would make use of all the facilities and opportunities Education City offers to their students, which is a pretty good thing to keep on mind for all the wise students at Education City.
