Students can use the PSSS to familiarize themselves with the types of questions, instructions, and format they will encounter on the SAT. PSSS Score Reports provide personalized feedback on students' skills and offer suggestions for areas in which students can improve to better prepare for college. PSSS includes 5 sections that test: critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills.
The PLAN® program helps 10th graders build a solid foundation for future academic and career success. It is a comprehensive guidance resource that helps students measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school and post-graduation year. Students can use the PLAN to familiarize themselves with the types of questions, instructions, and format they will encounter on the ACT. PLAN includes four multiple-choice tests: English, math, reading, and science.
The PSSS & PLAN exams are NOT admission exams, they are practice exams.
PSSS will be administered on Tuesday March 20, 2012 for males and Wednesday March 21, 2012 for females from 8.30 until 12.30 at Qatar Foundation Student Center.
PLAN will be administered on Tuesday March 27, 2012 for males and Wednesday March 28, 2012 for females from 8.30 until 12.30 at Qatar Foundation Student Center.
Both PSSS & PLAN will be administered on Saturday 17, 2012 (for both genders), but males and females will sit on different sides of the exam hall.
The fees are: QR 100 for either PSSS or PLAN.
