Ramadan Kareem. As you know food is very important in Ramadan, there is something sacred about it. It is the time where our mothers get creative in the kitchen, our grandmothers want to offer you food of love on a table that brings everyone together. Therefore, we want to keep you healthy, but in the same time be able to enjoy flavors food from all over the world.

1 lb dried lentils
8 cups water
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 bay leaf salt and pepper
1 Wash lentils.
2 Put all ingredients in large pot.
3 Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes til lentils are tender.
4 Blend in blender in batches until all soup is smooth.
5 Season with salt and pepper.
