Every year, Qatar Foundation and the branch campuses invite twenty five school administrators from the region to visit Education City for a couple of days, usually at the end of January. The purpose is to give counselors and educational advisors an understanding of the Education City community so that they can pass on their insights to students considering their higher education options. Qatar Foundation and its six branch campuses invite school counselors from around Qatar to attend an annual Doha Counselors Day event. The Doha Counselors Day program is designed to communicate important information about Education City, college counseling and admissions. The program will include interactive sessions about the admissions process, standardized testing requirements and testing services at Qatar Foundation as well as case studies and a panel discussion. Qatar Foundation and the Universities in Education are hosting counselor workshops and forums this academic year.
