This symposium, organized by Northwestern University in Qatar, aims to provide a forum for the public discussion on the state of Arab television scholarship and its implication on teaching Arab Media both regionally and globally. Participants will examine the last twenty years of satellite broadcasting and look forward into the future of Arab media and its implications for professionals working in the field.
